Description
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher at Falcon State Park of Texas by Debra Martz There is an unnamed shortcut trail from the RV park area through to the Recreation Hall at Falcon State Park from which several named trails start. I've taken this shortcut every day I've been here and each time I've seen several of these gnatcatchers in the area. This one gave me the treat of landing close to the trail and climbed around on this branch long enough for me to get a few shots. This image was captured in Texas during the month of January; part of the wintering area for the Blue-gray Gnatcatchers.

Congratulations on the recent features of this beautiful avian image. Amazing detail...I think I can count the chin whiskers! I know birds don't have whiskers but those tiny feathers look like it!
