I always try to get an early morning start when bird watching. On this particular morning the fog was so dense that I wasn't sure I would see any birds at all. But through the fog over this pond at Estero LLano Grande State Park in Texas, I spotted the Great Egret along with some ducks and a Coot and took a shot at it! After uploading to my computer, I first thought I needed to dehaze the image to see it clearer but in the end I decided to keep it original with the foggy atmosphere.
