Snowy Egret Caught Its Fish by Debra Martz I watched this beautiful Snowy Egret as it did the watch and wait technique of fishing...and then success although a rather small fish.
It was the 3rd week in April and I was pleased to see several of these egrets have returned to the area after most went south for the winter. Captured at the spillway of Great Salt Plains Lake in northern Oklahoma.
