Description
Each time I go to the Salt Plains NWR I stop near an old green abandoned home. My main purpose is to look for birds (my hobby) but I find so much interest at this old homestead. The tower of this windmill is covered with vines, some of which can be seen just below the blades. Aermotor windmills have been around since 1888.
