Vintage Ceiling Lamp by Debra Martz My main reason to be at the Old Hidalgo Pumphouse i South Texas was for bird watching in the large gardens and the small lake. The water source area that was once used to bring in water from the Rio Grande to the steam engines and later through outlets, these waters were used to irrigate farmlands. This time I walked through part of the museum which was fascinating and held memories of bygone days. This antique chandelier from the early 1900s hangs in a large room filled miscellantous tools, large and small, and even old phones. Copyright Debra Martz 20181120-DSC_0979-2-Edit.tif
