Toadstool Trail Formations - Utah by Debra Martz At this point I was wondering where my trail was. Looking back in the direction I had hiked...beyond this group of formations...no trail in sight. Oh well, just kept going in the reverse direction and eventually found it again.
I spotted the signage for this trail as we traveled from Kanab, Utah to Lake Powell along highway 89 and added it to plans to come back during our stay at Wahweap Marina (Lake Powell). Overall the trail was fairly easy 1.8 mile round trip, following washes for the most part...only one climb that required hands and feet to get up a level. The effort was worth it once I saw the first of the toadstools...feels like you're in another world!
