Description
There is an auto tour drive through a portion of the Salt Plains National Wildlife Refuge with a number of marshes along the way. Several pullouts allow you to stop and view. In my case I'm usually looking for birds and other wildlife. This particular stop, however, awarded me with a bright and sunny landscape view with beautiful golden grasses. The refuge is located in northern Oklahoma near Jet and Cherokee.
