Needle In A Haystack by Debra Martz
Bird watching can sometimes be like trying to find a needle in a haystack! You hear it but where on earth is it? You finally spot it and then it flies and you start the search again! This little Eastern Phoebe gave me fits trying to keep up with it and to get focus on it through all the limbs and twigs. I shot this at 600mm, which on my Nikon D7200 crop sensor is equal to 900mm, and with that I still cropped this image a little so you, the viewer, wouldn't have to look as hard as I did to get the bird!!
