Description
We had just finished enjoying a lunch outside at the Yacht Club in Cuchara, CO. There was a beautiful garden of flowers growing around the deck and I had to stop, camera in hand, to take some photos. This little honey bee flew onto this Aster just as I was taking a shot...and it gave me several angles over a few seconds of time. This was my favorite. I added some soft painerly brushes and light texture to the background and finished with a white vignette. (A fun side note: There is no way a yacht could possibly be used on the Cuchara River...a kayak, canoe size boats only! :-) But the atmosphere was very pleasant and the food was quite good!)
