Simple Twists in Nature by Debra Martz
Oh, the simple pleasures of nature. Walking a trail surrounded with the lightly colored Broomsedge grasses, I spotted this dark branch with the twists and curls. I don't know what plant it was but the dark color of the spiraling branch made a statement when surrounded by all the light colored, tall grasses...which in turn made a soft blurred out background with a shallow depth of field.
