While spending some time in Chama, New Mexico, near the Colorado border we spent time driving several forest roads. This particular drive took us into the Rio Grande National Forest. Little did I know that this was an access point for the Continental Divide trail, at Cumbres Pass from Hwy 17, which in its entirety is 3100 miles! NO, did not hike this one!!!
Directions from Chama, New Mexico: Travel northeast 21.1 miles on Colorado Highway 17. Then turn left on Forest Road 118
