I looked out the window and saw this beautiful brown pelican swimming in the canal. Could I be so lucky as to run upstairs, grab my camera and make it out on the back deck before it took flight? Yes!! It stayed in the area for a little while just swimming lazy circles and enjoying the warmth of the late afternoon sunlight.
