Description
The Boundary Restaurant Route 66 Oklahoma by Debra Martz
Once a very popular BBQ stop for travelers but now, according to their website, is for private parties and catering only.
The restaurant got its name, The Boundary, because it sits along the Indian Meridian, the east boundary of the 1889 Land Run which opened the area for settlement. The Indian Meridian is a true north-south line that is referenced in most deeds for plots of land that are either East or West of the line which includes most of Oklahoma, Kansas and Nebraska.
