Bisti Badlands Wilderness Panorama by Debra Martz So after following all the washes through this "aMAZEing" area, I was really drawn into just how awesome our world is. I didn't want to leave just yet, but time doesn't continue on endlessly in a day. So after wandering for some 10+ miles I knew it was time to hike on back to the truck. But only after I turned back one more time and captured 3 successive shots to create this panorama which gives you an idea of the expansiveness of this one area...but just an idea as there was so much more to it! The first time I ever wished for a drone to hover overhead and take it all in for me!!!

I ran across the Bisti Badlands/De-Na-Zin Wilderness a few years ago while searching for new places to see in New Mexico. Finally the time came that we would make the trip there. The closest lodging and RV parks are in Farmington and we arrived just before the visitors center closed. Oddly enough they only had one printed letter size pape...

My favorite moments are times spent outdoors. I love bird watching, going on hikes and appreciating nature that is all around us. Therefore, much of my photography involves nature and wildlife. I, also, enjoy traveling and have galleries with images from several states in the USA and a few European countries.
