While spending some time in Chama, New Mexico, near the Colorado border we spent time driving several forest roads. This particular drive took us into the Rio Grande National Forest and on to the Trujillo campground. It was in the boundaries of the campground that we saw an overlook sign. The word waterfall was not mentioned but if there is an overlook, I am going to go and check out the view. Was I ever surprised to see this gorgeous sight! Not only that, as we drove into the campground we stopped to read the entry sign and if a fee was required. No fee was required to drive through but we a notice that the campground was closing at noon on that day! It was already a bit after 11am but I wanted to drive through the area...quickly...just in case there was something to see. So glad the time limit didn't sway a decision to just turn around and leave! What a beautiful su...
My favorite moments are times spent outdoors. I love bird watching, going on hikes and appreciating nature that is all around us. Therefore, much of my photography involves nature and wildlife.
