Tri-colored Heron Reflecting On the Shallows ©Debra Martz Sometimes they run and dart in all directions as they chase prey and other times, like this, the Heron will stalk and gently shuffle its feet to stir up prey. Captured along the 4800 ft boardwalk at South Padre Island Birding and Nature Center the last day of February.
