This is located in Battery Park in Charleston, SC. This mortar (along with three others not in this picture) were first used by Federal troops for the bombardment of fort Sumter in October, 1863. According to the plaque, they may well form the world's largest collection of this type weapon.
My favorite moments are times spent outdoors. I love bird watching, going on hikes and appreciating nature that is all around us. Therefore, much of my photography involves nature and wildlife.
