Heron With Another Stick @Debra Martz In Rockport, Texas there is a large stand of Live Oak trees that serves as a rookery each year during the breeding season. It is across the street from the bay which is a source of food for the Herons making this an attractive place to nest. Hundreds of them nest here and this Heron is bringing another stick for the nest building.
