A few years ago one of the island's Garden Clubs was given permission to design and plant a butterfly garden in one of the parks. It was quite successful in attracting butterflies the first year. This sulphur butterfly is enjoying the nectar of the Mexican Flame in January. The Mexican Flame is a fast growing, everbloomer which makes it a great plant to attract butterflies!
