On a hike in the South Llano River State Park in south/central Texas, I started noticing more and more of these beautiful white wildflowers! It seemed odd that there were so many; odd because of the ongoing drought of several years! But the lack of water did not stop the growth of these beauties!
I was photographing this flower at first from a lower vantage point and different side when I noticed a long slim hair-like item moving. When I changed my vantage point, I saw that it was actually the antennae of this tiny little insect looking back at me!
