On a beautiful January day at the Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center in Port Aransas, Texas, I followed this Yellow-rumped Warbler (Setophaga coronata) with my lens for sometime. Just as I was about to give up on getting a capture it landed right in front of me, pulled off a berry, gave me a quick glance and it was off again. So, I say to this little ball of fire, thanks for looking at me if only for a second!

Thank you, Constance! This was not an easy one! I had followed this little but fast warbler with my lens to the point that I was almost ready to give up....then it stopped and plucked this berry, gave me one quick glance and it was off again! That quick glance gave me my opportunity; so thankful!
