The Big Tree Trail is one of several located within the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge in south Texas. As you enter the trail, the first rustic sign reminds you to "Dust off your senses and enter a world of sights and sounds, Of smell and touch; a world of mighty oaks and delicate flowers, of brightly-colored birds,and shy animals. Discover the World of the Big Trees!!" And oh, what a wonderful world it is...full of all the sign reminds you to do!
