Up Close with a Buck by Debra Martz So busy disconnecting utilites and doing the "make ready" for the RV that I didn't even know that some deer had moved in right behind me until my husband got my attention. The camera was already packed so I first pulled my iPhone from my pocket and after a few shots, with the deer still there, I grabbed my camera bag and got this shot and a few others with my 55mm-300mm lens which was already mounted. This buck, several doe, and young deer took their time feeding on the plants and "watching" us. I wish I had had more time to enjoy the moment and get more photos.
