They Call Me Yellowlegs by Debra Martz This Lesser Yellowlegs certainly lives up to its name when it comes to the color of its legs. Only Lesser as it very closely resembles the Greater Yellowlegs which is larger with a slightly upturned beak. It was strolling and probing for food across the mudflats which I gave a painterly look to but kept the bird natural. Captured at South Padre Island in south Texas.
