Artist's Description
The Snowy Attitude by Debra Martz A day trip to the Great Salt Plains State Park provided ample opportunities to photograph the Snowy Egrets. After a walk down the side of the multi-tiered spillway, I found additional concrete stairs leading down to the peninsula at the very bottom where there were many of these birds fishing; they were also squabbling at times over what I assumed was the best fishing spot! This one really had some territorial attitude!
This lake is near Jet in northern Oklahoma.
