Description
I was out hiking the Eagle Roost trail in search of birds but the dragonflies were more abundant at the beginning of the trail. Being a bird watcher more than a dragonfly watcher, I struggle with IDs but always try and find the correct one or at least hope to get close. With the use of several ID apps and online insect websites, my conclusion is this is a Great Blue Skimmer, immature. Please feel free to correct or suggest another ID in the comments. Thank you.
