Description
Sheeps Crossing Overlook to East Rim Trail at Wild Rivers Recreation New Mexico by Debra Martz
The Sheep Crossing Overlook is the first pull-out you will see after entering the Wild Rivers Recreation area of Rio Grande Del Norte National Monument. The East Rim Trail begins here (there is a gate to get past the fence) and follows along the edge of the Rio Grande Gorge for more than three miles. The trail is an in and out and joins a two-track road at times. It is mostly level with a few steep ups and downs. The mountain in the distance is Ute Mountain which has an elevation of over 10,000 feet.

Karen Silvestri, thank you very much for the feature in your Fine Art America group, Lady Photographers and Artist!

I do love New Mexico. It's where we will end up one day
Debra Martz replied:
We do to! Visit at least once every year. We always thought we would end up there one day but looking more like continuing with the visits.
