"Scenic Sylvan Lake at Custer State Park" by Debra Martz
This beautiful lake is found at the top of a mountain in the Black Hills of South Dakota. It is part of the Custer State Park and is called by many the Crown Jewel of the park. Not only is the lake beautiful but the drive on the Needles Highway is breathtaking with many surprises as you make your way up and down the switchbacks. The road is paved but very narrow and on a round trip to Sylvan Lake you will pass through 3 one lane tunnels and see unbelievable spires of rock.
Thank you for looking,
