Description
Red Poppy New Beginnings by Debra Martz In the fall of 2018, major flooding ocurred along the Llano Rivers in the Hill Country of Texas near Junction. The spring that followed in 2019 brought "new to the area" wildflowers. The tall, beautiful Red Poppies were scattered across the park. This was along Buck Lake trail in the riparian area of the park. Hiking Texas' South Llano River State Park was full of even more beauty this Spring!
