Red Beauty Stem Walking by Debra Martz There I was, sitting on the ground at the fish hatchery near Questa, New Mexico, when this red beauty dropped in to join me!! It was nice company, for a very short while, then off it flew to find another grass stem to walk!
I'm not certain of this Dragonfly's ID. I think it might be a Common Darter, a species of Skimmer, or possibly a Vagrant Darter which is very similar. If you know this one, please mention it in the comments. Thank you.
