Portrait of NeoTropic Cormorant Preening by Debra Martz Sometimes you just get lucky and are close enough to watch and admire the beauty of a bird up close. The sky was overcast with only a slight hint of color so I further desaturated the blue to make the cormorant more vivid and added a bit of white vignette to finish. I captured this image at my favorite birding place in Port Aransas, Texas...Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center.
