Artist's Description
Pelicans at Sunrise by Debra Martz I took a walk over to Whitecap Beach on North Padre Island in southern Texas. Clouds were heavy and had thought there would be no color for this morning sunrise which was to be around 6:45 a.m. But, I waited a while longer and at 7:03 a.m. the clouds broke apart enough to let the color through on the horizon. And then the Brown Pelicans flew overhead going toward Bob Hall Pier; their silhouettes in the early morning light added a nice touch!
