Often there is a shadow or a reflection but this one gave me both!!
Textures and enhanced colors added in post processing.
Each year I find mangrove seeds watching ashore on the beaches along Padre Island, Texas. But on this particular day I noticed quite a few while walking 1.25 mile boardwalk/path at a nature preserve called Charlie's Pasture in Port Aransas, Texas. I'm not sure if it or any of the other ones will survive in these shallow waters that often become dry flats as the area depends somewhat on tides and a great deal on rain. I liked how the water ripples were catching the light as it moved over the seed.
