Juvenile Cooper's Hawk - Square by Debra Martz
This young Cooper's Hawk was moving from post to post keeping an eye on a small bird in the sand dune undergrowth. When it landed on this post near me, I took the opportunity to capture its beautiful back and tail feathers and patterns. Captured this image on January 2nd at the beach on North Padre Island, Texas.
