Enjoyed watching this heron at the beach. It was a breezy day with the wind catching the feathers and plumage. Not quite sure what is going on with it's "ornate" plume on its head! Very common, very large bird with a range extended all across the United States and further north and south. Scientific name: Ardea Herodias
