From the Dark Comes the Wonderer by Debra Martz This Yellow Crowned Night Heron was very close to the trail that goes around Alligator Lake in the Estero LLano Grande State Park in south Texas. I loved its expression as if it was wondering what was just overhead. With its black and white head so prominent, I decided to convert the image to all black and white.
