On what is deemed a very cold January day in South Texas, 36 degrees, the local news had reported some stranded sea turtles had been rescued. They were cold stunned due to colder than normal water temperatures. So like many other locals do, we went driving the beach and the shores of Laguna Madre to see if any more were in need of rescue. The good news that day was that no more were found stranded by us or others that were searching. Of course, I had my camera along for the ride, because, as it is so often said, the beach is different every day due to tides and blowing winds. We have driven this beach many times over the years but this was the first time to see this particular remains of a boat.
