Excited White Ibis Snags Its Blue Crab by Debra Martz I am not sure which was more excited! The Ibis chasing after a blue crab under the water or me watching it unfold. In the end, it got its nice sized crab...after several drops and retrievals! Even dropped it one more time after this but on the next catch the Ibis headed to solid ground with it successfully! This image captured along the 3300' boardwalk at the World Birding Center of South Padre Island Texas. An excellent place for bird watching!
