Eastern Phoebe Original by Debra Martz For a great hike to see birds, make a visit to South Llano River State Park near Junction, TX. There are miles and miles of trails. Some you drive to the trailhead but others start right from the campground such as Buck Lake Trail. Go past the Acorn blind, make a stop at Buck Lake for water fowl, then go left at the end to the Riparian area which will make a loop along the river and back through the tall, old growth oaks and back to the lake. This Phoebe and many others were in the old growth area.
