Description
A favorite view of mine when we are traveling into New Mexico for our Red River destination. This, however, was taken on our morning departure heading back home. After rising above the town of Eagle Nest you round a few curves and have an opportunity at a pullout to enjoy the view of the lake and mountains. There were not as many low clouds as I have seen on some mornings but still had those hugging the mountain tops in the distance. Of course, there were none hovering right over the lake this time...since I planned in advance to stop! Still a beautiful scene.
