Colorful Brown Pelican by Debra Martz The great thing about North Padre Island, Corpus Christi, Texas, is that beach driving is still allowed. So somedays I spend just driving and stopping along the beach to watch the coastal shore birds.
I've had a little fun with this closeup by doing a colorful, digital painting of my Brown Pelican photograph which I captured just at liftoff from the water's edge.
