Chipmunk or Squirrel by Debra Martz Well, I actually thought it was a chipmunk until I googled chipmunks in Bryce Canyon, Utah. I found out there are 3 varieties of chipmunks, Least, Uinta and Cliff. And one might think perhaps Cliff since this little one was out on the edge of the cliff at the top lookout of Inspiration Point. However, each of those 3 varieties have what looks like a Zorro mask due to the black and white stripes on their faces. This one has a white eye-ring. Further searching turned up the Golden-mantled Ground Squirrel....which I'm fairly certain that is the correct ID.
