Description
The first stop we made early morning of December 1 at the state park didn't yield any good bird watching. But the second stop surely did. The fruits of this tree were breakfast to about a hundred birds or more. The Cedar Waxwings like this one were in abundance along with Eastern Bluebirds, and American Robins. What a fun experience as they flew in and out, back and forth, even hovering below the berries in some cases before they snagged one. And on a few occasions, there was a poser like this one. Must have stayed still at least 5 seconds. Captured at the Great Salt Plains State Park near Jet, Oklahoma.
