Carolina Chickadee Chicka-dee-dee-dee by Debra Martz To my surprise this cute little chickadee returned to this tree once again but this time sat there momentarily and sang its song thus the title. It made me think of the Chuck Pyle song "Chickadee Chickadee Chicka-dee-dee-dee" Now sing along! :-)

Great job on this photo! The chickadee is a very complex, but often under appreciated, bird. So many people know them only for their alarm call (chick-a-dee-dee) but their many other vocalizations can tell you a lot about what’s going on in the woods.
