Peeking Through the Mist by Debra Martz
I discovered these tiny delicate wildflowers Peeking Through the Mist. So small that I had to lie down on the ground to take this photograph. There were only a few of them at the top of Warren Peak near Sundance, Wyoming. When traveling we always try to talk to a local or two....or three or four...to find out where to go and what to see Off the Beaten Path and Warren Peak was one of those suggestions. We were warned of the extreme final climb (by vehicle) and then the other frightening climb up the lookout tower!! We were not afraid; so we went!!! Well, I was a bit squeamish by the time we arrived, therefore, I had to look down at the ground to ensure it was still under me! That was when I noticed these beautiful, small, delicate wildflowers with drops of water on them from the morning mist! This was great....it gave me a reason to sit on the ground without admitting that that was what I needed to do!!
