Description
Bay-breasted Warbler by Debra Martz This beautiful female was busy in the depths of the bushes and leaves of the trees. I slowly moved side to side to try and capture a shot....then this. She flew out on a bare limb and gave me a brief pose! October 27th, 2018 at Leonabell Turnbull Birding Center in Port Aransas, Texas.
(Scientific name: Setophaga castanea)
Note: The destroyed boardwalks and observation tower from Hurricane Harvey 2017 have been removed. Now to wait and see when and how long it will take to build new ones. However, there were still migratory birds moving through and some stopping at the remaining trees along the sidewalk.

Gorgeous, Deb! This looks like it could go into an Audubon book. I'm proud to exhibit this named bird image among the features for the group, Wild Birds Of The World - A Nature Photography Group. L/F
