Shrouded by Its Splash by Debra Martz

This Green Winged Teal was actively bathing and making some of the biggest splashes by a small duck that I have ever seen. It was so much fun to watch it as all the others just swam around and ignored its robust moves! Just one of many reasons I spend so much time going to Port Aransas, Texas to the Leonabell Turnbull birding center. It is not a contained area, just a boardwalk over a brackish water, marshy area where the birds and other wildlife come and go freely.
