.........................
Hulett, Wyoming is a quaint, western town located about 10 miles NNE of Devils Tower National Monument on hwy 24. It can also be reached by a back road/dirt road starting in Sundance, WY which takes you through part of the Bear Lodge Mountains before entering the Black Hills National Forest. We were staying in Sundance and were lucky enough to get this information from a local so off we went! It was a very scenic drive....only made a wrong turn once...and what a surprise when we arrived at Hulett; it felt as if we had stepped back in time to the days of the Wild West! This gallery is just one example of all the buildings in town.
.........................
Note the sign that says Open 23 hours...unlucky for us as I guess we were there the 1 hour they were not open! Would have loved to have seen the collections inside based on the information found online at http://hulett-wyoming.com/antiques Here is their description: "The Gallery, Studio and Museum feature the Black Hills largest selection of 19th century Plains Indian Beadwork and Old West collectables. The museum displays and sells hundreds of items like rare American Indian weapons, old cowboy spurs, guns and relics from the Battle of little big horn. Artwork in the Gallery and Studio by Bob Coronato: Oil Paintings and original Chine Colle Etchings featuring Cowboys, Ranching, and American Indian ways of life."
